۞ Gather all the wicked together and their comrades, and those they had worshipped 22 besides God, and lead them to the path of the Fire; 23 "But stop them, for they must be asked: 24 'Why do you not help one another? 25 No, today they will resign themselves in submission, 26 And they will approach one another blaming each other. 27 They said, “It is you who used to come to us from our right, in order to sway.” 28 Those say, 'No; on the contrary, you were not believers; 29 And we had no authority over you, but you were an inordinate people; 30 The sentence of our Lord has come true for us. We have certainly to taste (the punishment), 31 "So we led you astray because we were ourselves astray." 32 Then lo! this day they (both) are sharers in the doom. 33 Surely thus do We deal with the guilty. 34 They were the ones, who on being told, "God is only One," become puffed-up with pride 35 And they used to say, “Shall we forsake our Gods upon the sayings of a mad poet?” 36 (They say so although) he brought the Truth and confirmed the veracity of the Messengers. 37 Ye shall indeed taste of the Grievous Penalty;- 38 and be rewarded only according to your deeds." 39 Save the chosen slaves of Allah (faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism). 40 for them awaits a known provision, 41 fruits -- and they high-honoured 42 In the Gardens of delight (Paradise), 43 facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 44 Round will be passed to them a Cup from a clear-flowing fountain, 45 white, sparkling (wine), a delight to the drinkers. 46 no headiness will be in it, and they will not get drunk thereon. 47 and with them wide-eyed maidens restraining their glances 48 as if they were hidden pearls. 49 So one among them turns to the other, questioning. 50 One of them will say: 'I had a companion 51 Who used to say: Art thou in truth of those who put faith (in his words)? 52 [that] after we have died and become mere dust and bones we shall, forsooth, be brought to judgment?"' 53 Do you want to see him?' " 54 He looked down and saw (his friend) in the midst of Hell. 55 And he will say: by Allah, thou hadst wellnigh causedest me to perish. 56 And but for the favour of my lord, I should have been of those brought forward. 57 “So are we never to die?” (The people of Paradise will ask the angels, with delight, after the announcement of everlasting life.) 58 except for our first death? Are we not going to be punished? 59 Most surely this is the mighty achievement. 60 For the like of this, then, let the workers work. 61 Is this not a better reward than the tree of Zaqqum 62 Lo! We have appointed it a torment for wrong-doers. 63 It is a tree that grows from the bottom of Hell; 64 Its fruit like the heads of demons. 65 on it they shall feed, and with it they shall fill their bellies. 66 Washing it down with boiling water. 67 Then thereafter, verily, their return is to the flaming fire of Hell. 68 They had found their fathers astray, 69 So they (too) made haste to follow in their footsteps! 70 So had many an earlier people gone astray, 71 And We had already sent among them warners. 72 and behold what happened in the end to those that had been warned [to no avail]! 73 But not the chosen servants of Allah. 74

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. (5) وقف المجاذبة أو المعانقة حيث يجب الوقف في أي من موضعين قريبين ولكن ليس كلاهما، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة تظهر في أحد الموقعين باحتمال النصف للنصف.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
