And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
