Hizb 46

Jonah was certainly a Messenger. 139 When he fled on the laden ship, 140 So he shared (with them), but was of those who are cast off. 141 Then he was swallowed by a large fish as he was worthy of blame. 142 But had it not been that he was of those who glorify (Us), 143 He would certainly have remained inside the Fish till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ Then We cast him on a desert shore while he was sick; 145 And We caused to grow up for him a gourdplant. 146 And We sent him towards a hundred thousand people, in fact more. 147 and they believed, and We gave them enjoyment for awhile. 148 Now ask them their opinion: Is it that thy Lord has (only) daughters, and they have sons?- 149 Or created We the angels females while they were present? 150 Now surely it is of their own lie that they say: 151 "God has begotten children." They are truly liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters in preference to sons? 153 What is the matter with you that you make such strange judgements? 154 Will ye not then be admonished? 155 Or have you a clear authority? 156 “Then bring forth your Book, if you are truthful!” 157 And they have made between Him and the jinn a kinship whereas the jinn assuredly know that they are to be brought up 158 God is too glorious to be described as they describe Him 159 except for God's sincere servants. 160 For, verily, neither ye nor those ye worship- 161 You cannot make anyone rebel against Him. 162 Except the one who will go into the blazing fire. 163 [The angels say], "There is not among us any except that he has a known position. 164 Lo! we, even we are they who set the ranks, 165 And we are those who sing hallelujas to Him." 166 What, would they then say: 167 "If only we had a tradition [to this effect] from our forebears, 168 We would certainly have been the servants of Allah-- the purified ones. 169 But when it came to them, they rejected it. They shall soon come to know (the end of such an attitude). 170 for, long ago has Our word gone forth unto Our servants, the message-bearers, 171 That they would certainly be assisted, 172 And surely, only Our army will be victorious. 173 Hence, turn thou aside for a while from those [who deny the truth,] 174 And wait; they will come to know soon. 175 Do they seek to hasten on Our Torment? 176 Then, when it descends into their courtyard (i.e. near to them), evil will be the morning for those who had been warned! 177 Leave them alone for a while, 178 And watch (how they fare) and they soon shall see (how thou farest)! 179 Glorified be thy Lord, the Lord of Majesty, from that which they attribute (unto Him) 180 Peace be with the Messengers (of God). 181 And praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds! 182
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
