▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 it is indeed a Glorious Koran, 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 Which none can touch except the purified. 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 And make denial thereof your livelihood? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 and that hour you are watching 84 We are closer to him than you, even though you cannot see? 85 Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority-- 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 So if he is one of those who are near-stationed (to Allah), 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 And a hurling into the blazing fire. 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
