He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ The Prophet frowned and turned away 1 when the blind came to him. 2 How canst thou know, whether haply he might be cleansed, 3 or he might be mindful and good counsel might avail him. 4 As for him who is not in want of any thing, 5 to a rich man, 6 though it is not thy concern, if he does not cleanse himself. 7 but as for him who came unto thee full of eagerness 8 and fearfully, 9 you ignore him. 10 Nay, (do not do like this), indeed it (these Verses of this Quran) are an admonition, 11 So whoever wills may remember it. 12 In honored books, 13 exalted, purified, 14 (Written) by the hands of scribes- 15 Honourable and Pious and Just. 16 Accursed be man! How stubbornly he denies the Truth. 17 From what substance did He create him? 18 From Nutfah (male and female semen drops) He created him, and then set him in due proportion; 19 then eased his path for him, 20 Then He causes him to die, then assigns to him a grave, 21 and then, whenever He wishes, He will raise him back to life. 22 Nay, but (man) has not done what He commanded him. 23 Let man reflect on the food he eats. 24 For that We pour forth water in abundance, 25 Thereafter We cleave the earth in clefts, 26 how We made the grain to grow, 27 together with grapes and vegetables, 28 And olives and date-palms, 29 and dense orchards, 30 And fruit and grass - 31 an enjoyment for you and your flocks. 32 Then when cometh the Deafening Cry 33 That Day shall a man flee from his own brother, 34 And his mother and his father 35 And his wife and his children, 36 on that Day every man among them will have enough concern of his own -- 37 (Many) faces on that day shall be bright, 38 laughing, and rejoicing, 39 And other faces that Day will be dust-stained, 40 Darkness will cover them, 41 these, these will be the ones who denied the truth and were immersed in iniquity! 42
Almighty Allah's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
