O you who believe! Obey Allah and His Messenger, and turn not away from him (i.e. Messenger Muhammad SAW) while you are hearing. 20 Nor be like those who say, "We hear," but listen not: 21 ۞ Indeed the worst beasts in the sight of Allah are those (people) who are deaf, dumb – who do not have any sense. 22 And if Allah had known any good in them He would have made them hear, and if He makes them hear they would turn back while they withdraw. 23 O believers, respond to the call of God and His Prophet when he calls you to what will give you life (and preservation). Remember that God intervenes between man and his heart, and that you will be gathered before Him. 24 And fear a trial which will not strike those who have wronged among you exclusively, and know that Allah is severe in penalty. 25 Call to mind when ye were a small (band), despised through the land, and afraid that men might despoil and kidnap you; But He provided a safe asylum for you, strengthened you with His aid, and gave you Good things for sustenance: that ye might be grateful. 26 O you who believe! Betray not Allah and His Messenger, nor betray knowingly your Amanat (things entrusted to you, and all the duties which Allah has ordained for you). 27 And know that your wealth and your children are a test, and that with Allah is an immense reward. 28
