Al-Kahf 9 of 12
When Moses said to his (assisting) youth: 'I will not give up until I reach the point where the two seas meet even though I should go on for many years' 60 But when they reached the point where the two rivers meet, they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the sea, as if through a tunnel. 61 And after the two had walked some distance, [Moses] said to his servant: "Bring us our mid-day meal; we have indeed suffered hardship on this [day of] our journey!" 62 He replied: "Sawest thou (what happened) when we betook ourselves to the rock? I did indeed forget (about) the Fish: none but Satan made me forget to tell (you) about it: it took its course through the sea in a marvellous way!" 63 Said he, 'This is what we were seeking!' And so they returned upon their tracks, retracing them. 64 Then they found one of Our servants unto whom We had given mercy from Us, and We had taught him knowledge proceeding from Us. 65 Moses asked him, "Can I follow you so that you would teach me the guidance that you have received?" 66 'You will not bear patiently with me' He replied. 67 How canst thou bear with that whereof thou canst not compass any knowledge? 68 Moses said: "Thou wilt find me, if Allah so will, (truly) patient: nor shall I disobey thee in aught." 69 He said: then if thou wilt follow me ask me not of anything until I begin thereof some mention. 70
