The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 I ask of you no recompense for it, for my only reward is with the Lord of the Universe, 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe in you when no one has followed you except the lowest ones". 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner. 115 They said: "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will be stoned to death." 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter. 120 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers. 121 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace 122
