And remember Our slave Ayub (Job), when he invoked his Lord (saying): "Verily! Shaitan (Satan) has touched me with distress (by losing my health) and torment (by losing my wealth)! 41 (And it was said unto him): Strike the ground with thy foot. This (spring) is a cool bath and a refreshing drink. 42 And We granted to him his family and also the like of them, as a mercy from Us, and as a reminder to people of understanding, 43 "And take in thy hand a little grass, and strike therewith: and break not (thy oath)." Truly We found him full of patience and constancy. How excellent in Our service! ever did he turn (to Us)! 44 And remember Our bondmen Ibrahim, and Ishaq, and Yaqub – the men of power and knowledge. 45 Verily We! We distinguished them with a distinct quality: the remembrance of the Abode. 46 They were, in Our sight, truly, of the company of the Elect and the Good. 47 Remember [Our servants] Ishmael, Elisha, and Dhu'l-Kifl. Each of them was among the just. 48 This is a Reminder, and indeed for the cautious is a fine return, 49 They will enter gardens of Eden with their gates open for them. 50 wherein they shall recline, wherein they shall ask for abundant fruit and drinks, 51 ۞ And with them will be maidens of equal age with modest gaze. 52 This is what you, [the righteous], are promised for the Day of Account. 53 Indeed, this is Our provision; for it there is no depletion. 54 But the arrogant will have the worst return: 55 They will suffer in hell. What a terrible dwelling! 56 (They will be told), "This is your recompense. 57 And other Penalties of a similar kind, to match them! 58 This is a crowd rushing in along with you; no welcome for them; verily they are to roast in the Fire. 59 They will say nay! it is ye, for whom there is no welcome: it is ye who have brought it upon us. Evil shall be the resting-place. 60 They will say: “Our Lord, give twofold punishment in the Fire to him who has led us to this.” 61 And they say: What aileth us that we behold not men whom we were wont to count among the wicked? 62 Have we taken them in mockery? Or, have our eyes swerved from them?' 63 Indeed, that is truth - the quarreling of the people of the Fire. 64
