Hast thou considered him who turns his back 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 and Abraham, he who paid his debt in full? 37 That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden? 38 and that man shall have only that for which he strives; 39 And that his effort will soon be scrutinised? 40 Then he will be fully repaid for it? 41 That to thy Lord is the final Goal; 42 It is He who causes laughter and weeping. 43 And that it is He Who gave death and gave life? 44 And that He created pairs, the male and the female 45 From Nutfah (drops of semen male and female discharges) when it is emitted; 46 and on Him depends the life hereafter. 47 and that it is He who gives riches and causes to hoard, 48 And that He it is Who is the Lord of Sirius; 49 that it was He that destroyed ancient Aad 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 And before them, the people of Noah, for that they were (all) most unjust and most insolent transgressors, 52 And He destroyed the Overthrown Cities (of Sodom and Gomorrah). 53 so that there came upon them that which came. 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The Day of Judgment is drawing nearer. 57 None except Allah can avert it. 58 Do you then wonder at this recital (the Quran)? 59 And you laugh at it and weep not, 60 While ye amuse yourselves? 61 Prostrate yourselves before God, and worship Him alone! ۩ 62
