The Human (Al-Insan)
31 verses, revealed in Medina after The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman) before Divorce (Al-Talaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Was there a period of time when man was not even worthy of a mention? 1 We created man of a sperm-drop, a mingling, and We made him hearing, seeing. 2 Lo! We have shown him the way, whether he be grateful or disbelieving. 3 Indeed, We have prepared for the disbelievers chains and shackles and a blaze. 4 the righteous shall drink from a cup mixed with the coolness of kafur, 5 The Kafoor is a spring, from which the chosen bondmen of Allah will drink, causing it to flow wherever they wish inside their palaces. 6 They fulfill their vow and dread a Day the evil whereof shall be widespreading. 7 They feed the destitute, orphans, and captives for the love of God, saying, 8 [Saying], "We feed you only for the countenance of Allah. We wish not from you reward or gratitude. 9 Verily we dread from our Lord a Day grim and distressful. 10 God will certainly rescue them from the terror of that day and will meet them with joy and pleasure. 11 and will reward them for all their patience in adversity with a garden [of bliss] and with [garments of] silk. 12 There they will recline on elevated couches and will be subjected neither to the burning heat of the sun nor to bitter cold. 13 And the shade thereof is close upon them, and the bunches of fruit thereof will hang low within their reach. 14 And there shall be made to go round about them vessels of silver and goblets which are of glass, 15 And crystal clear bottles of silver, of which they will determine the measure themselves. 16 Therein they shall be served a cup flavoured with ginger, 17 (The water of) a spring therein, named Salsabil. 18 ۞ There will circulate among them young boys made eternal. When you see them, you would think them [as beautiful as] scattered pearls. 19 If you were to see it, you would find it to be a great kingdom with great bounty. 20 They will have fine green silk and brocade, and they will be decked with bracelets of silver. Their Lord will provide them with a drink of pure wine. 21 This will be their reward and their efforts will be appreciated. 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
