(Hell will never spare the disbelievers). 32 and the night when it retreats 33 by the brightening dawn, 34 Indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions] 35 A warning for people -- 36 To any of you that chooses to go forward (by working righteous deeds), or to remain behind (by commiting sins), 37 Every soul is a pledge for its own deeds; 38 except the Companions of the Right. 39 In Gardens; they shall be asking, 40 about the guilty ones: 41 “What drove you to Hell?” 42 and they shall reply, "We were not among those who prayed; 43 And we have not been feeding the poor. 44 We indulged and persisted in useless disputes, 45 and the Day of Judgment we were wont to call a lie 46 Till death overtook us. 47 So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 as though they were terrified asses 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 Is it that everyone of them wants to receive a heavenly book addressed to him personally? 52 By no means! Aye, they fear not the Hereafter. 53 but this is truly a reminder. 54 Let any who will, keep it in remembrance! 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56
