The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the sky with its constellations, 1 And by the Promised Day. 2 By the witness and the witnessed! 3 may the people be condemned those who tortured (the believers) in ditches 4 The people of the fuelled blazing fire. 5 When they sat by it 6 And they themselves are witnesses to what they were doing to the Muslims! 7 whom they hated for no other reason than that they believed in God, the Almighty, the Praiseworthy, 8 Who, to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness over everything. 9 Verily, those who put into trial the believing men and believing women (by torturing them and burning them), and then do not turn in repentance, (to Allah), will have the torment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the burning Fire. 10 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment. 11 VERILY, thy Sustainer's grip is exceedingly strong! 12 He it is Who creates for the first time and He it is Who will create again, 13 And He alone is truly-forgiving, all-embracing in His love, 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 Performer of what He desires. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 Of Pharaoh and the Thamud? 18 But those who disbelieve are engaged in denial. 19 And Allah encompasses them on every side. 20 In fact it (what they deny) is the Noble Qur’an. 21 in a Guarded Tablet. 22
