The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the morning hours 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 and the Last shall be better for thee than the First. 4 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 Did He not find you poor and suffice you? 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 And do not drive the beggar away, 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11
