And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
