All that lives on earth or in the heavens is bound to pass away: 26 And everlasting is the Entity of your Lord, the Most Majestic and the Most Honourable. 27 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 28 All in the heavens and the earth entreat Him for their needs; a new, mighty task engages Him each day. 29 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 30 We shall surely aim, O both burdened. 31 (We shall then see), which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 32 O assembly of jinns and men! If you have power to pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, then pass (them)! But you will never be able to pass them, except with authority (from Allah)! 33 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 34 There will be sent, against you both, heat of fire and flash of brass, and ye will not escape. 35 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 36 And when heaven is split asunder, and turns crimson like red leather -- 37 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 38 For on that Day neither man nor invisible being will be asked about his sins. 39 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 40 The guilty will be known by their marks, and will be taken by the forelocks and the feet. 41 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 42 This is hell, which the criminals deny. 43 Going round between it and boiling water fierce. 44 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 45
