Al-Takweer
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun is overthrown, 1 And when the stars fall, 2 The mountains made to move, 3 And when full-term she-camels are neglected 4 and when all beasts are gathered together, 5 and when the seas boil over, 6 And when souls are united, 7 And when the female infant buried alive is asked 8 For what sin she was killed, 9 when the scrolls are unrolled, 10 And when the heaven is torn away. 11 And when hell is further enflamed. 12 And when the garden is brought nigh, 13 (Then) every soul will know what it had prepared (for itself). 14 Rather, I swear by the returning 15 the planets that run their course and set, 16 And the Night as it dissipates; 17 and the morn as it softly breathes: 18 Truly, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, 19 one mighty and held in honour with the Lord of the Throne; 20 One (to be) obeyed, and faithful in trust. 21 And your companion is not [at all] mad. 22 he truly saw him on the clear horizon; 23 he is not niggardly of the Unseen. 24 And it (the Quran) is not the word of the outcast Shaitan (Satan). 25 where then are you going? 26 It is not except a reminder to the worlds 27 For those of you who desire to walk the path that is straight, 28 And you do not please except that Allah please, the Lord of the worlds. 29
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
