One of His signs is that He created you from dust and, behold, you became human beings and multiplied yourselves throughout the earth. 20 And among His signs is that He created spouses for you from yourselves for you to gain rest from them, and kept love and mercy between yourselves; indeed in this are signs for the people who ponder. 21 Other evidence of His existence are the creation of the heavens and the earth and the differences of languages and colors. In this there is evidence (of the truth) for the worlds (mankind). 22 And of His signs is your sleep by night and day and your seeking of His bounty. Indeed in that are signs for a people who listen. 23 Among His signs is this: He shows you the lightning, giving rise to [both] fear and hope, and sends down water from the sky, giving life thereby to the earth after it had been lifeless: in this, behold, there are signs indeed for people who use their reason! 24 And of His signs is that the heaven and earth stand firm at His command. And when He calls you once out of the earth, you shall come forth. 25 To Him belongs whosoever is in the heavens and the earth. All are obedient to His Will. 26 And He it is Who originates the creation, then reproduces it, and it is easy to Him; and His are the most exalted attributes in the heavens and the earth, and He is the Mighty, the Wise. 27
