Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 And when the stars shall be scattered, 2 the oceans are merged together, 3 When the graves are overturned, 4 A soul will know what it hath sent before (it) and what left behind. 5 O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? 6 Who created you then formed your symmetry, then gave you right proportion, 7 and composed thee after what form He would? 8 No indeed; (the fact is that) you deny the Reckoning, declaring it a lie; 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 Illustrious scribes 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 Indeed, the righteous shall (live) in bliss. 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 roasting in it on the Day of Recompense 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
