Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
