The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
