Al-Furqaan 6 of 6
Blessed is He who placed in the heavens constellations of stars, and placed a burning lamp in it and the luminous moon. 61 It is He who has made the night and day follow each other for those whom He desires to remember or He desires to be thankful. 62 The servants of the All-merciful are those who walk in the earth modestly and who, when the ignorant address them, say, 'Peace'; 63 who pass the night prostrate to their Lord and standing; 64 Who say: "O our Lord, avert from us the torment of Hell: Its punishment is surely continuous. 65 It is a terrible abode and an evil station," 66 and who, whenever they spend on others, are neither wasteful nor niggardly but [remember that] there is always a just mean between those [two extremes]; 67 Who do not invoke any god apart from God, who do not take a life which God has forbidden except for a cause that is just, and do not fornicate -- and any one who does so will be punished for the crime, 68 Multiplied for him is the punishment on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein humiliated - 69 But only those who repent and believe and act righteously will have their sins replaced by virtue; God is All-forgiving and All-merciful. 70 And whoever repents and does good has truly turned to Allah with an (acceptable) conversion;- 71 And [know that true servants of God are only] those who never bear witness to what is false, and [who,] whenever they pass by [people engaged in] frivolity, pass on with dignity; 72 who do not behave like the blind and the deaf, when the Revelations of their Lord are recited to them for admonition; 73 who pray, "Our Lord, bless us with wives and children, who may be the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders of the righteous. " - 74 Those will be awarded the Chamber for what they patiently endured, and they will be received therein with greetings and [words of] peace. 75 They will live therein forever, the best abode and place of rest. 76 Say, "What would my Lord care for you, if you do not call on Him. Because you have indeed rejected the truth and His punishment is bound to overtake you. 77
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
