The dwellers of the forest also rejected the Messengers. 176 When Shuaib said to all of them, “Do you not fear?” 177 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 178 “Therefore fear Allah and obey me.” 179 And I do not ask you any reward for it, my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds; 180 ۞ Give full measure, and be not of those who give less (than the due). 181 and weigh with the straight balance, 182 and diminish not the goods of the people, and do not mischief in the earth, working corruption. 183 And fear Him who created you and all the earlier people." 184 They replied, "You are bewitched. 185 You are nothing but a man like us, and we think you are a liar. 186 Let a part of the sky fall on us if what you say is true". 187 He said, “My Lord is Well Aware of what you do.” 188 But they belied him, so the torment of the day of shadow (a gloomy cloud) seized them, indeed that was the torment of a Great Day. 189 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 190 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 191

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
