In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Alif-Lam-Mim. 1 Those are the verses of the Wise Book, 2 A guide and a mercy for the Muhsinun (good-doers) 3 Those who keep the prayer established and pay the charity and accept faith in the Hereafter. 4 It is they who are on guidance from their Lord, and only they are the successful. 5 There are some human beings who purchase an enchanting diversion in order to lead people away from the way of Allah without having any knowledge, who hold the call to the Way of Allah to ridicule. A humiliating chastisement awaits them. 6 When Our Signs are rehearsed to such a one, he turns away in arrogance, as if he heard them not, as if there were deafness in both his ears: announce to him a grievous Penalty. 7 Surely those who believe, and do deeds of righteousness, there awaits them Gardens of Bliss 8 They will abide in them for ever. The promise of God is true; and He is all-mighty and all-wise. 9 He has created the skies without any support that you could see, and has placed firm mountains upon the earth, lest it sway with you, and has caused all manner of living creatures to multiply thereon. And We sent down water from the skies, and thus We made every kind of excellent plant grow there: 10 this is God's creation. Show me then what those besides Him have created! The wrongdoers are in manifest error. 11
