It is He who sends down to you out of heaven water of which you have to drink, and of which trees, for you to pasture your herds, 10 With it He causes to grow for you the crops, the olives, the date-palms, the grapes, and every kind of fruit. Verily! In this is indeed an evident proof and a manifest sign for people who give thought. 11 God has made the day and the night, the sun and the moon, and all the stars subservient to you by His command. In this there is evidence of the truth for people of understanding. 12 On the earth He has fashioned for you objects of various hues: there is certainly a sign in that for people who pay heed. 13 It is He who subjected to you the sea, that you may eat of it fresh flesh, and bring forth out of it ornaments for you to wear; and thou mayest see the ships cleaving through it; and that you may seek of His bounty, and so haply you will be thankful. 14 And He hath cast into the earth firm hills that it quake not with you, and streams and roads that ye may find a way. 15 and He has set up other landmarks. By these and by the stars people set their course. 16 Is then He, Who creates as one who creates not? Will you not then remember? 17 If you count God's blessing, you will never number it; surely God is All-forgiving, All-compassionate. 18 And Allah knoweth that which ye keep secret and that which ye publish. 19 And those whom they call on besides Allah have not created anything while they are themselves created; 20 they are dead, not living. They do not even know when they will be resurrected. 21
