The day the enemies of God will be gathered at the Fire and the records of their deeds will be distributed, 19 So that when they reach it their ears and eyes and persons will testify to what they did. 20 And they will say unto their skins: wherefore bear ye witness against us? They will say: Allah hath caused us to speak, Who causeth everything to speak, and Who created you the first time and unto whom ye are now caused to return. 21 Ye have not been taking cover against yourselves lest your ears and your eyes and your skins should bear witness against you, but ye imagined that Allah not much knew of that which ye were working. 22 It is this notion you had of your Lord that caused your ruin, and you are lost." 23 Even if they were to exercise patience, their dwelling would still be hell fire. Even if they were to seek favors, they would receive none. 24 ۞ We have allotted them comrades, and they have decked out fair to them that which is before them and behind them. So against them has been realized the Word concerning nations that passed away before them, men and jinn alike; surely they were losers. 25

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
