The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
WOE TO THOSE who give short measure, 1 Those who, when they have to receive by measure from men, demand full measure, 2 Whilst when they measure or weigh for them, give less. 3 Do they not think they will be raised (to life) again 4 Unto an Awful Day, 5 a Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the Universe? 6 Indeed the ledger of the wicked will be in (the lowest depths) Sijjin. 7 And what will make you know what Sijjin is? 8 It is a written book. 9 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies, 10 those that give the lie to the Day of Recompense. 11 And none deny it except every sinful transgressor. 12 When Our Signs are rehearsed to him, he says, "Tales of the ancients!" 13 Nay! rather, what they used to do has become like rust upon their hearts. 14 No indeed! On that Day they will be screened off from seeing their Lord, 15 Then most surely they shall enter the burning fire. 16 and be told: "This is the [very thing] to which you were wont to give the lie!" 17 No indeed! Verily, the deeds of the virtuous shall be in the record of the exalted ones. 18 And what do you know what the Illiyoon are! 19 It is a written book, 20 The ones nearest to God will bring it to public. 21 Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure 22 reclining on couches, reviewing (the bounties given to them). 23 You shall see upon their faces the glow of bliss. 24 They are given to drink of a pure wine, sealed, 25 The seal thereof will be Musk: And for this let those aspire, who have aspirations: 26 With it will be (given) a mixture of Tasnim: 27 A fountain from which only they who are honoured drink. 28 Behold, the wicked were wont to laugh at the believers: 29 and whenever they pass by them, they wink at one another [derisively]; 30 And when they returned to their people, they would return jesting. 31 On seeing the believers, they would say, "These people have gone astray". 32 Yet they were not sent as guardians over them. 33 So today those who believe shall laugh at the unbelievers; 34 On high thrones, watching. 35 The infidels have indeed been rewarded for that which they had been doing. 36

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
