Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

۞ Have We not expanded for you your breast, 1 And We have taken off from thee thy burthen, 2 Which weighed down your back? 3 And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)? 4 But lo! with hardship goeth ease, 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 Then when thou becometh relieved, toil; 7 and turn to your Lord with longing. 8
