Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
