The pious will live in gardens with streams 45 and they will be told to enter there in peace and safety. 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 Neither any hardship is to reach them in it, nor are they to be expelled from it. 48 ۞ Tell My servants I am the All-forgiving, the All-compassionate, 49 But My punishment is surely a painful one. 50 And tell them about the guests (the angels) of Ibrahim (Abraham). 51 When the angels came to him and said, “Peace"; he said, “We feel afraid of you.” 52 'Do not be afraid' they answered. 'We come to give you glad tidings of a knowledgeable child' 53 Said he: "Do you give me this glad tiding despite the fact that old age has overtaken me? Of what [strange thing,] then, are you giving me a tiding!" 54 They said, "We have given you the glad news for a true reason so do not despair". 55 He said: And who despaireth of the mercy of his Lord save those who are astray? 56 Abraham said: "What then is the business on which ye (have come), O ye messengers (of Allah)?" 57 They said, "We have been sent forth to a guilty people." 58 "Except the family of Lot whom we shall save 59 “Except his wife – we have decided that she is of those who will stay behind.” 60
