When Moses said to his servant (Joshua): "I will not give up till I reach the confluence of two oceans, or I will journey on and on." 60 So when they had reached the junction of the two (rivers) they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the sea, going away. 61 And when they had gone further, he said unto his servant: Bring us our breakfast. Verily we have found fatigue in this our journey. 62 He said: Didst thou see, when we took refuge on the rock, and I forgot the fish - and none but Satan caused me to forget to mention it - it took its way into the waters by a marvel. 63 Said he, 'This is what we were seeking!' And so they returned upon their tracks, retracing them. 64 So they found a bondman* from amongst Our (chosen) bondmen, to whom We had given mercy from Us, and had bestowed the inspired knowledge from Ourselves. (* Hazrat Khidr – peace be upon him.) 65 Moses said unto him: May I follow thee, to the end that thou mayst teach me right conduct of that which thou hast been taught? 66 He said: "You will not be able to bear with me. 67 "How can you bear that which is beyond your comprehension?" 68 Moses said: "Thou wilt find me, if Allah so will, (truly) patient: nor shall I disobey thee in aught." 69 He said to Moses, "If you will follow me, do not ask me about anything until I tell you the story about it." 70
