Y S (Yaa Seen)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 By the wise Qur'an, 2 you are truly among the Messengers, 3 pursuing a straight way 4 [This is] a revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned and so they are unaware. 6 The Phrase has become obligatory upon most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 Lo! We have put on their necks carcans reaching unto the chins, so that they are made stiff-necked. 8 We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and, We have covered them so that they do not see. 9 It is the same whether you have warned them or you have not warned them, they do not believe. 10 Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. 11 We will surely bring the dead to life and We record what they send ahead and the signs they will leave behind; and We have accounted all things in a clear Book. 12
