And indeed We have created man, and We know what his ownself whispers to him. And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein (by Our Knowledge). 16 When the two receivers receive, sitting on the right and on the left. 17 He uttereth no word but there is with him an observer ready. 18 And death's agony comes in truth; that is what thou wast shunning! 19 And the Trumpet was blown; “This is the Day of the promised punishment.” 20 Every soul will be accompanied (by an angel) behind him and another as a witness. 21 'Thou wast heedless of this; therefore We have now removed from thee thy covering, and so thy sight today is piercing.' 22 His companion attendant will say, "I have here his record ready." 23 [Allah will say], "Throw into Hell every obstinate disbeliever, 24 "Hinderer of good, transgressor, doubter, 25 and has set up another deity with Allah. Hurl him into the grievous torment.” 26 ۞ His [devil] companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not make him transgress, but he [himself] was in extreme error." 27 He (Allah) will say: 'Do not dispute before Me. I sent you a warning beforehand. 28 “With Me, the decree does not change, and nor do I oppress the bondmen.” 29
