Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven shall be cleft, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the oceans are swept away. 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 who created you, formed you and proportioned you? 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 Despite this, you deny the Day of Judgment, 9 you do so the while there are watchers over you; 10 noble scribes 11 They know what you do. 12 Behold, [in the life to come] the truly virtuous: will indeed be in bliss, 13 And lo! the wicked verily will be in hell; 14 Roasted they shall be therein on the Day of Requital. 15 and which they shall not [be able to] evade. 16 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 17 Again, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
