The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
