Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And certainly We have made strongholds in the heaven and We have made it fair seeming to the beholders. 16 And We have guarded it from every outcast devil, 17 Except one who comes to eavesdrop – therefore a bright flame goes after him. 18 And the earth have We spread out, and placed therein firm hills, and caused each seemly thing to grow therein. 19 And We have appointed thereon for you livelihoods and also for those of whom ye are not the providers. 20 And there is not a thing the treasure* of which is not with Us; and We do not send it down except by a known measure. (* The power to create it.) 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then We send down water from the heaven and We give it to you to drink, and thereof ye could not be the treasurers. 22 It is We who give life and We who give death, and We are the One who will abide. 23 And assuredly We know those of you who have gone before and those who will come hereafter. 24 And verily thy Lord! He will gather them, and verily He is Wise, Knowing. 25
