Behold, Moses said to his attendant, "I will not give up until I reach the junction of the two seas or (until) I spend years and years in travel." 60 And when the twain reached the confluence of the two, they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the sea freely. 61 So when they had passed beyond it, [Moses] said to his boy, "Bring us our morning meal. We have certainly suffered in this, our journey, [much] fatigue." 62 He said, 'What thinkest thou? When we took refuge in the rock, then I forgot the fish-and it was Satan himself that made me forget it so that I should not remember it -- and so it took its way into the sea in a manner marvellous.' 63 [Moses] said, "That is what we were seeking." So they returned, following their footprints. 64 and found one of Our worshipers to whom We had given from Our Mercy, and to whom We had taught knowledge of Ours. 65 Moses asked him, "Can I follow you so that you would teach me the guidance that you have received?" 66 He said: Lo! thou canst not bear with me. 67 "How can you remain patient with that which you do not fully understand?" 68 Moses said, "God willing, you will find me patient, and I will not disobey you in any thing." 69 He (Khidr) said: "Then, if you follow me, ask me not about anything till I myself mention it to you." 70
