'Lord, open my breast,' said Moses, 25 And make my mission easy. 26 "And make loose the knot (the defect) from my tongue, (i.e. remove the incorrectness from my speech) [That occurred as a result of a brand of fire which Musa (Moses) put in his mouth when he was an infant]. [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 16, Page 159]. 27 so that they may understand my speech, 28 "And appoint for me a helper from my family, 29 "Aaron, my brother; 30 Add Thou through him to my strength, 31 And let him share my task 32 So that we should glorify Thee much, 33 and remember You abundantly. 34 Surely You know us well." 35 He said, “O Moosa, you have been granted your prayer.” 36 We had already shown you favor 37 When We revealed to your mother what was revealed; 38 saying: "Put him in the box and cast it into the river. The river will cast him on to the bank, and he shall be taken up by an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his." I lavished My Love on you, and to be formed in My Sight. 39 [And We favored you] when your sister went and said, 'Shall I direct you to someone who will be responsible for him?' So We restored you to your mother that she might be content and not grieve. And you killed someone, but We saved you from retaliation and tried you with a [severe] trial. My Lord neither goes astray, nor forgets. 52 Who made the earth for you an expanse and made for you therein paths and sent down water from the cloud; then thereby We have brought forth many species of various herbs. 53 (Saying): Eat ye and feed your cattle.
