Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
