Hizb 38
< random >
The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 when their brother Noah said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 He said, "And what is my knowledge of what they used to do? 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 I would not drive away the believers; 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Noah, thou shalt assuredly be one of the stoned.' 116 He said: "My Lord! My people have branded me a liar. 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
