Verily the tree of Zaqqum 43 Food of the sinner. 44 Like molten brass, it seetheth in their bellies 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 [And the word will be spoken:] "Seize him, [O you forces of hell,] and drag him into the midst of the blazing fire: 47 then pour over his head the anguish of burning despair! 48 "Taste thou (this)! Truly wast thou mighty, full of honour! 49 "Verily! This is that whereof you used to doubt!" 50 Surely the godfearing shall be in a station secure 51 amidst gardens and springs. 52 wearing [garments] of silk and brocade, facing one another [in love]. 53 Thus shall it be: and We shall espouse them to fair, wide-eyed maidens. 54 There in security, they will call for every kind of fruit. 55 They will not taste death therein except the first death, and He will have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire 56 As a Bounty from your Lord! That will be the supreme success! 57 So have We made it easy in your tongue that they may be mindful. 58 Wait (for God's decree) and they too will be waiting. 59
