It was We Who created man, and We know what dark suggestions his soul makes to him: for We are nearer to him than (his) jugular vein. 16 When the two angels meet together, sitting one on the right, and one on the left, 17 There is not a word he utters but an observer is ready (to make note of it). 18 And the intoxication of death will bring the truth; that is what you were trying to avoid. 19 The trumpet will be sounded. This is the Day [you were] warned of. 20 Each soul shall come with a driver, and a witness. 21 You were heedless of this. Now We have removed your veil and so your vision today is sharp. 22 And his accompanying angel said, “This is the record of your deeds, available with me.” 23 (The sentence will be:) "Throw, throw into Hell every contumacious Rejecter (of Allah)!- 24 who is an opponent of good, a suspicious transgressor 25 who has set up with Allah another god. Indeed, you two, cast him into the terrible punishment' 26 ۞ His satanic companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not mislead him, but he himself went astray". 27 He will say: Do not quarrel in My presence, and indeed I gave you the threatening beforehand: 28 There is no changing of My word, nor am I unjust to My creatures." 29
