Surely the God-fearing shall have Gardens of bliss with their Lord. 34 What, shall We make those who are submissive like the wrongdoers? 35 What is amiss with you? On what do you base your judgment [of right and wrong]? 36 Or have you a Book through which you learn. 37 that tells you to do whatever you want? 38 Or have ye a covenant on oath from Us that reacheth to the Day of Judgment, that yours shall be all that ye ordain? 39 Ask them (O Muhammad) which of them will vouch for that! 40 Or is it that they have partners in worship? So they should bring their appointed partners, if they are truthful. 41 On the day when there shall be a severe affliction, and they shall be called upon to make obeisance, but they shall not be able, 42 Their eyes will be cast down and they will be covered in shame; they were bidden to prostrate themselves, when they were safe and sound [but they did not obey]. 43 Hence, leave Me alone with such as give the lie to this tiding. We shall bring them low, step by step, without their perceiving how it has come about: 44 And I will give them time. Indeed, My plan is firm. 45 Or, do you ask them for a wage, so that they are burdened with debt? 46 Is with them the unseen, so that they write down? 47 So wait patiently for the judgment of your Lord, and be not like the companion of the fish, when he cried while he was in distress. 48 had his Lord not bestowed His favour upon him, he would have been cast upon that barren shore (and would have remained there) in disgrace. 49 Then his Lord chose him, and He made him of the good. 50 And the Unbelievers would almost trip thee up with their eyes when they hear the Message; and they say: "Surely he is possessed!" 51 While it is naught but an admonition unto the worlds. 52
