Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
