Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Did you see him who gives the lie to the Reward and Punishment of the Hereafter? 1 Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness), 2 And does not urge (others) to feed the poor. 3 Ah, woe unto worshippers 4 Who are unmindful of their prayers, 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
