The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
AlifLaamMeem. 1 This is the Book of Allah: there is no doubt about it. It is guidance to Godfearing people, 2 who believe in the unseen, establish the Salats and expend (in Our way) out of what We have bestowed on them; 3 who have faith in what has been revealed to you and others before you and have strong faith in the life hereafter. 4 they are the people who are rightly following their Lord and it is they who shall be successful. 5 Those who disbelieve, whether you forewarn them or not, they will not believe. 6 Allah hath set a seal on their hearts and on their hearing, and on their eyes is a veil; great is the penalty they (incur). 7
