We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
