Hizb 46

And lo! Jonah verily was of those sent (to warn) 139 when he ran away to the laden ship 140 Then lots were drawn and he became of those who were pushed into the sea. 141 The fish then swallowed him and he blamed himself. (For not waiting for Allah’s command.) 142 Had it not been that he (repented and) glorified Allah, 143 he would have lingered in its belly till the Day they are resurrected. 144 ۞ Then We cast him on a bare desert whilst he was sick. 145 and caused a creeping plant to grow over him [out of the barren soil]. 146 And [then] We sent him [once again] to [his people,] a hundred thousand [souls] or more: 147 And they believed; so We permitted them to enjoy (their life) for a while. 148 So inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Does your Lord have daughters while they have sons? 149 Have We created the angels as females before their very eyes? 150 Is it not a lie invented by them when they say: 151 'Allah has begotten' They are truly liars. 152 (And again of their falsehood): He hath preferred daughters to sons. 153 What ails you that you judge in such a wise? 154 Will you then not take heed? 155 Do you have any clear authority for such claims? 156 Bring your book if what you say is true. 157 They have set up a kinship between Him and the jinn; and the jinn know that they shall be arraigned. 158 Glorified be Allah from that which they attribute (unto Him), 159 Except the chosen servants of Allah [who do not share in that sin]. 160 Lo! verily, ye and that which ye worship, 161 You cannot tempt [anyone] away from Him 162 except for he who shall roast in Hell. 163 [The angels say], "There is not among us any except that he has a known position. 164 And verily we! we are ranged in ranks. 165 And we are most surely they who declare the glory (of Allah). 166 AND, INDEED, they [who deny the truth] have always been wont to say, 167 “If we had some advice from the earlier generations,” 168 “We would certainly be the chosen bondmen of Allah.” 169 Yet (now that it is come) they disbelieve therein; but they will come to know. 170 We have already given Our promise to Our Messengers 171 That they verily would be helped, 172 And that Our hosts, they verily would be the victors. 173 So turn thou aside from them for a season. 174 And watch, for they will (soon) see. 175 What! would they then hasten on Our chastisement? 176 So when it does descend in their courtyards so what an evil morning it will be for those who were warned! 177 And turn thou aside from them for a season. 178 and see; soon they shall see! 179 Exalted is your Lord, the Lord of might, above what they describe. 180 Peace be with the Messengers (of God). 181 And praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds. 182
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
