۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 And verily that is a mighty oath, if ye but knew! 76 That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable, 77 In a Register well-protected; 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 And make denial thereof your livelihood? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 right before your very eyes? 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 Then if the dying one is of those having proximity, – 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto thee" from those on the right hand. 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 96
