And verily it is a revelation of the Lord of the worlds. 192 Which the trusted spirit descended with 193 Upon thy heart, that thou mayest be of the warners, 194 In plain Arabic language. 195 Truly it is in the Scriptures of the ancients. 196 Is it not a sign to them that the learned men of the Israelites know it? 197 (But such is their adamance) that had We revealed it to one of the non-Arabs and even if he had recited (this clear Arabic discourse) to them 198 and he had recited it to them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We caused this [message] to pass [unheeded] through the hearts of those who are lost in sin: 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful torment; 201 It will come upon them suddenly when they are not expecting it. 202 Then they will say: are we to be respited? 203 Do they want to hasten Our punishment? 204 Beholdest thou? if We let them enjoy for years. 205 and then the chastisement of which they were being warned were to come upon them, 206 They would not be availed by the enjoyment with which they were provided. 207 We never destroyed any town without first sending to them warning and guidance. 208 to admonish them. We have never been unjust. 209 And the devils have not brought the revelation down. 210 they are not supposed to do so. Nor do have they the ability for such a task. 211 Truly, they are expelled from hearing. 212 Hence, [O man,] do not invoke any other deity side by side with God, lest thou find thyself among those who are made to suffer [on Judgment Day]. 213 And warn thy tribe of near kindred, 214 Lower thy wing to those who follow thee, being believers; 215 Then if they disobey you, say: "I am innocent of what you do." 216 Have trust in the Majestic and All-merciful God, 217 Who sees you when you arise 218 And your movement among those who prostrate. 219 Surely He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing. 220 Shall I tell you on whom the satans descend? 221 They descend on every great accuser, extreme sinner. (The magicians) 222 The devils convey upon them what they heard, but most of them are liars. 223 As for the poets, only those who go astray follow them. 224 Did you not see that they keep wandering in every valley? 225 And that they say what they do not do. 226 Except those [poets] who believe and do righteous deeds and remember Allah often and defend [the Muslims] after they were wronged. And those who have wronged are going to know to what [kind of] return they will be returned. 227
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
